Surprise Marriage Proposal in DUMBO, Brooklyn
Erran’s family and I coordinated to put together this surprise proposal/engagement on the rooftop of the Empire Shops in the area overlooking Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO. Rain threatened our plans all day, so we were lucky that it didn’t start storming until our photoshoot was finished, but the weather did make for some very moody images!
Their story is so cute and funny, as what had happened was that he had actually ‘fake’ proposed to her earlier that day with a big, silly, plastic ring in a different park in Queens, and then later in the evening brought her to the real proposal spot that was attended to by his family and beautifully decorated. She said “Yes!” and after the happy couple were finished with their celebrating, we went down to the waterfront and took some night-time posed photos of them as well.
