Wildlife and nature photography

Our natural world is filled with an abundance of flora and fauna that run the gamut from delicate and graceful to poisonous and terrifying, and it is one of my absolute favorite things to shoot. From the mourning doves at my bird feeder on the fire escape to the endangered cassowary in the remote jungles of Australia, incredible plants and creatures are all around us. Their images inspire, raise awareness of environmental issues, aid in scientific research, and help connect us with each other and to our place on earth. This genre of photography is best for zoos, parks, wildlife reserves, and agricultural industries.
