Limited Edition Artwork Photography for Artsy, Midtown Manhattan
Recently commissioned by Artsy, the world’s largest online marketplace for fine art, the goal of this shoot was to accurately capture pieces from a private collection to be sold.
Including works by renowned artists Robert Indiana, Frank Stella, and others, our 2 hour shoot was spent meticulously capturing 11 unique pieces, ensuring that every detail, texture, and color was flawlessly conveyed.
Photographing artwork presents a unique set of challenges, demanding technical precision and an eye for artistic composition, to preserve the integrity of each piece. To achieve optimal results, we employed careful lighting techniques, color calibration, minimizing glare and reflections, and capturing the true essence of the artwork's intricate details to faithfully reproduce the artworks' original vibrancy and texture. It is quite the delicate balance between technical expertise and artistic sensibility!
