City Hall Vow Renewal on 35mm Film/5th Anniversary
In the heart of the city, amidst the timeless grandeur of City Hall, I had the pleasure of capturing a poignant moment—a couple's vow renewal to commemorate five years of shared joy and enduring love. Armed with both my 35mm film and digital cameras, I aimed to encapsulate the essence of this intimate celebration.
The radiant couple, accompanied by their little daughter, brought an extra layer of warmth to the occasion. As they exchanged vows and glances, the atmosphere was charged with the sincerity of their commitment. Every shot, whether taken on film as a timeless art form or in digital as a strategic insurance, sought to preserve the nuances of this milestone. It was a testament to the enduring power of love, a narrative captured through the lens of their journey and the promise of many more beautiful chapters ahead. While digital images were captured as a precaution, processed to echo the distinctive allure of film, we primarily focused on the film's unique essence, which still remains unparalleled in the world of photography.

All images in this blog post were shot on a digital Nikon D850 using a variety of lenses, and a Canon FT-b 35mm film camera using a 50mm prime lens, all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets. Film processing provided by Photodom.
