Intimate Restaurant Wedding at Aurora in Williamsburg - Brooklyn, NYC

Weddings are some of the most challenging and rewarding events to shoot, and I only do them on occasion. I had met Megan and Paulo earlier that year by photographing their surprise proposal and having a short engagement session outside of the restaurant afterwards (see this post). They loved their photos so much that they asked me to photograph their wedding as well; I was so thrilled! There was a lot of planning, legwork, preparation, and logistics involved in this all-day affair. Starting with the bride and groom both getting ready in different apartments, to the first look on the waterfront of the Manhattan bridge, to couples portraits, family group shots, the ceremony itself, and the subsequent reception dinner (both held at Aurora in Williamsburg) It was a TON of work, but so much fun and so very enjoyable!
This wedding was planned and managed by the amazing Brittney Bartling from BLB Events.

Usually I only post 6 of my favorite images from each shoot, but weddings are different. So here are 12 of them :)

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D750, using a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 prime and a 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 G series zoom lens, and individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using my own custom presets.
