Muslim At-Home Wedding Ceremony in Ozone Park, Queens
Shamira and Mohammed held a small, private marriage rite in their family’s home in Ozone Park, Queens, which was attended by close family and friends. Our 2-hour session included coverage of the bride getting ready, posed individual and couples portraits, and the certificate signing (as a more public/traditional ceremony had already taken place that morning outdoors in a park, albeit with a different photographer). It’s always such a joy and a blessing to be able to witness so many of NYC’s wonderful and diverse customs!

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D850 using a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, and all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets.
