In-Studio Product Photography for E-Commerce: Lintex Linens

Not all photoshoots are grand, outdoor adventures; some take place in the privacy of a closed studio. Product photography for e-commerce websites often falls into this category, especially considering a lot of online vendors have strict parameters regarding how to the images need to be shot and formatted. Often a solid, white background is required to submit these photos to certain sites, but each marketplace has its own unique requirements. That being said, this shoot for Lintex Linens consisted of photographing about 50 different items (place-mats, table-runners, table-cloths, etc) at about 3-5 angles each, then editing the backgrounds out in post (not pictured). These items were sent to me in the mail to photograph in my studio, then sent back to the client when I was through.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D750, using an AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, and individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom.
