January Food Photoshoot Roundup, Queens and Manhattan
This month, I had the pleasure of photographing 18 incredible restaurants, but six truly stood out: Watami Sushi, Eshel, One-Stop Kitchen, Fellini, New Panda, and Indian Summer. Each shoot offered a unique atmosphere and culinary artistry that made capturing their essence an absolute delight.
Watami Sushi: Known for its Edomae-style sushi, this spot’s minimalist interiors and meticulously crafted dishes made for stunning close-ups. The omakase presentation was a visual feast.
Eshel: This new Persian-Mediterranean kosher restaurant on the Upper West Side brought bold flavors and vibrant plating to life. The jeweled rice and lamb chops were as photogenic as they were delicious.
One-Stop Kitchen: A hidden gem in Queens offering hearty South American inspired food.
Fellini: A cozy Italian eatery with rustic charm that recently just expanded their West Village space.
New Panda: This Chinese restaurant impressed with its colorful dim sum platters and intricate presentation of traditional dishes.
Indian Summer: Nestled in Harlem, this casual Indian spot delivered vibrant curries and breads that popped against its cozy, mood-lit dining space.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D850 using a 24-85mm zoom lens, and all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets.
