Baby Baptism at St. George's Calvary Episcopal Church (Gramercy Park, Manhattan)
Being a photographer enables me to cover an incredible variety of interesting things that I might not otherwise get to normally experience in the course of my everyday life, and this was not only the first Baptism I have ever shot, but also the first one I have ever even seen! I learn something new on every photoshoot; not just about photographic technique, but about myself, the inhabitants of New York City, and the world of cultures & ritual that surround me here. The christening was held at St. George’s, followed by a family brunch at Maialino.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D750, using an AF-S Nikkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 lens, and individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using my own custom presets.
