Halloween Themed Autumn Photoshoot on a Farm in Queens

Chloe was the creative mastermind behind this very stylized costume-themed shoot that we took together at the Queens County Farm museum just before Halloween. She had her special effects makeup professionally applied, and got her hair done right before the shoot. She arrived in a gorgeous gown, and with a handmade floral arrangement. We had to acquire a permit from the farm prior to our shoot, and were given free-reign of the entire grounds during our session. We definitely got a lot of attention that day from the folks visiting the corn maze and pumpkin patch! I applied dramatic edits after the fact to give an extra macabre-feeling to the tone and atmosphere.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D750, using a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom.
