Floral Designer Portraits for Shield Flowers in Midtown
This shoot took place in collaboration with Dapra Labs, a marketing and branding agency that was in the process of rebuilding the website for local floral design company Shield Flowers. Our aim was to capture portraits of Sukh, the creative director, in her element (the design studio!). During our one-hour session, I focused on capturing Sukh's personality with a mix of behind-the-scenes shots of her working and some more traditionally posed portraits. The studio was filled with natural light and vibrant floral arrangements, providing the perfect backdrop for our shoot. We worked quickly to get a variety of shots that showcased Sukh’s passion for her craft and the artistry behind her floral designs. Partnering with Dapra Lab was a great experience, as they had a clear vision for the images needed to enhance Shield Flowers’ online presence. All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D850 using 24-85mm zoom lens, and all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets.
