Central Park Surprise Marriage Proposal and Couple's Shoot

Robert was planning a surprise marriage proposal to take place on Umpire Rock in Central Park, and wanted to be able to discreetly capture the moment; for this shoot we agreed on a meeting spot and time for it to take place which required me to arrive a few minutes early to scope out the area and take test shots to ensure we did not miss anything. Because Central Park is always bustling with people, my presence nearby was not noticed by his now-fiancé before he popped the big question at the end of their morning run. After the proposal, we walked around the park a bit to take some candid couples photos.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D850 using a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, and all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets.
