City Hall Wedding + Couples Shoot at The Brooklyn Bridge

I recently had the honor of photographing an intimate wedding that took place in Brooklyn City Hall. Not only was I there to capture their special day, but I also had the privilege of serving as a legal witness totheir union.

After the ceremony, we headed to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge for some environmental couples photos. The picturesque views of the surrounding park and skyline made the perfect backdrops for their candid portraits; after that we also took some indoor photos in their hotel room, both as a couple, and some with immediate family.

Later that evening, the couple hosted a celebratory dinner at Aurora, a charming Italian restaurant in Brooklyn attended by a few members of their immediate family and close friends. It was especially meaningful for me to shoot at Aurora again, having photographed another wedding there a few years prior.

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D850 using a 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, and all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom using custom-built presets.
