Adoptive Family Photoshoot in Queens (Oakland Gardens)

This was such a special photoshoot! Krissy had arranged for a family session as a gift to their oldest daughter, Alice, on the first anniversary of her joining their family. They had been fostering her for some time, and were in the process of officially adopting her. We shot these outside in the courtyard area of their apartment complex, mixing group shots with individuals, siblings, and the happy couple. I was so touched by their story, and humbled that they chose me to work with them to help create this special memory!

All images in this blog post were shot on a Nikon D750, using a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, all individually post-processed in Adobe Lightroom.
