December Food Photography Roundup, various locations NYC
In the month of December, I captured 17 different food-focused photoshoots, showcasing the diverse flavors of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens.
From charming bistros to upscale eateries, I had the privilege of documenting the culinary craftsmanship of passionate chefs and artisans. Among these shoots, six stand out as personal favorites.
Pictured from top-left to bottom-right:
- Cantierre Hambirerria, NoLita (Manhattan)
- Chili Wok (ghost kitchen out of Jade Eatery), Forest Hills, Queens
- Cotra, Gowanus (Brooklyn)
- San Marzano, East Village (Manhattan)
- Jackson’s Eatery, Long Island City (Queens)
- The Grits Shop, Bushwick (Brooklyn)
Despite the limitations of adhering to the strict shooting guides and standards set by delivery platforms like UberEats and DoorDash, I always make to sure to capture "extras" for both personal enjoyment and to enhance my portfolio.
Here are some of my favorite images from this shoot (click/tap to view full size and un-cropped):
